Donaghadee: Lemons Wharf Improvement Scheme

£19,9307: Funded by DfC and Ards and North Down Borough Council

Lemons Wharf Environmental Improvement Scheme was completed in November 2021 and included: 

• Installation of a new surface, new levels for disabled access and drainage 
• Upgrade to pieces of play equipment  
• Creation of new picnic area  
• Creation of a new entrance feature 
• Enhanced lighting and railings linking to the harbour area.  

The scheme has successfully reimagined an urban public space into an area that will further promote the vitality and viability of Donaghadee Waterfront area and the town centre.  It is making the area an exciting and more welcoming environment for visitors and residents.
