Newtownards
The Newtownards Town Centre Masterplan was produced 2010 through a collaborative process led by the Department for Social Development with Ards Borough Council.
Much has changed since. Newtownards and its independent retail offer have navigated through the changing role of the town centre by providing a unique experience, contributing to its success for residents and visitors.
In 2022/23, The Paul Hogarth Company, with McGarry Consulting, and informed by public engagement exercise undertook a review of the Masterplan. The review sets out an understanding of current projects and initiatives, an overview of conversations with stakeholders and a revised set of priorities and actions for Newtownards Town Centre to be delivered over the next 8 years.
