Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct was introduced by the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 2014.  It sets out principles and rules for all councillors. 

The principles include selflessness, integrity, accountability, promoting good relations, and respect.

The rules are how the principles should be applied, and cover areas such as behaviour towards other people, declaration of interests, and the use of council resources.
