Groomsport Inclusive Beach - Mae Murray Foundation Equipment Loan Scheme 2024
June 2024 marks the launch of the third year of free of charge, specialised equipment loan scheme at Groomsport Inclusive Beach. The season runs from Saturday 15 June until Sunday 14 September 2024.
The scheme is a partnership with the Mae Murray Foundation and the Community Development staff of Ards and North Down Borough Council. Staff will be on site each weekend to ensure the required equipment is ready for use for each booking.
Members of the Mae Murray Foundation can pre-book equipment per requirements, on weekends in June, July, August, and September. You can find the up to date season schedule at Inclusive Beaches : Mae Murray Foundation,where you will also find a full equipment list and list of FAQ's. Terms apply.
At an Inclusive Beach, visitors can be confident that they will have a stress-free arrival with appropriate parking or drop off points, enjoy connectivity between beach, eateries, and dignified toileting facilities, and know that there will be equipment to support mobility and activities that they can participate in.
