Donaghadee Motte & Car Park Improvement Design

Following the restoration of the Gunpowder Store at Donaghadee Motte, the Council has agreed to progress a design for an further scheme aimed at improving the visitor attraction.  

It will improve the car park, enhance accessibility, upgrade the existing handrails and install wayfinding/interpretive signage, making this attraction more visitor friendly and engaging.  

By developing the plans and securing planning permission the project aims to be 'shovel ready' should funding become available.
