Shaping the Future
Ards and North Down Borough Council is developing a new Village Plan for Cloughey.
The Village Plan is a non-statutory document which outlines the long-term goals, objectives, and vision for the village. The actions identified in the Village Plan help to co-ordinate development efforts, prioritise investment and ensure there is a clear vision for the future of Cloughey.
The development of the new Village Plan will consist of three key stages:
Stage 1 - Extensive Public Engagement (May 2024 to September 2024)
Stage 2 - Desktop Data Analysis | Draft Priorities Consulted (October 2024 to February 2025)
Stage 3 - Launch of Village Plan 2025-2035 (March 2025)
(Timelines are subject to change)
In order to shape the Cloughey Village Plan we were keen to listen and understand the views of the residents and businesses.
There were lots of way for residents and businesses to get involved - these are now closed.
- We hosted a Public Engagement Drop-In Event 20 June 2024 | 4pm-6pm | The Pavilion
- People were asked to complete the Online Survey by visiting Your Village | Your Voice - Ards and North Down Borough Council - Citizen Space - the survey is now closed.
- Community groups, local clubs, or organisations, or those hosting an event were asked if they would like our team to come along and discuss the Village Plan.
All comments and queries should be emailed to us at village.plans@ardsandnorthdown.gov.uk
