HEART AND SOUL - A Strategic Direction for Ards and North Down 2021 - 2026

People are the very 'heart and soul' of events and Ards and North Down is blessed with passionate communities and professionals who want to deliver outstanding events.  We recognise that events play a key part in delivering social, cultural and economic outcomes to meet that vision. Events bring people together, mark key milestones and create memories. Events can also share and showcase the Borough's rich culture, heritage and natural built assets.

The purpose of the HEART AND SOUL Strategic Direction is to illustrate how events can help meet the strategic objectives outlined in the Borough's Big Plan, Corporate Plan, Integrated Arts and Heritage Strategy and Integrated Tourism, Regeneration and Economic Development Strategy.
