The Portaferry Shop Front Improvement Grant Scheme has been provided by the Department for Communities (DfC), the Department for Infrastructure (DfI), the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA), and Ards and North Down Borough Council (ANDBC).
The fund has been created to support businesses to contribute to the regeneration and renewal of Portaferry following on from the Portaferry Public Realm Scheme.
The Portaferry Shop Front Improvement Grant Scheme will provide financial assistance to businesses located within the public realm scheme to carry out external adjustments and improvements to their properties.
Under the scheme, businesses will be eligible to apply for grant assistance of up to a maximum value of £2,500 to contribute towards up to 90% of the total eligible cost of the project.
